A Creative Path to Self-Awareness through Art and Meditation with Ingela Johansson

By Depictlab Season 2 Episode 5

Ingela is an artist and founder of Zenart, where she runs programs in art meditation. Her creative process shows us a path to discover our inside artist, connecting being present as a way to find flow, a moment to let ourselves being completely present and fully immersed in a task. She inspired us to dare to be creative for the pure fun of it.

For Ingela Johansson, the universality of emotions, senses, and colors is what inspires art. By creating in nature and combining it with meditation, her brush can flow freely, often creating pieces that may evoke a certain feeling in her.

Ingela was born in Sweden and educated in London, Stockholm, and Borås. She has lived and worked as an artist in South East Asia for six years but moved back to Sweden to be closer to nature and family.
You can find her artworks at the New Zealand High Commission, Swedish Embassy in Singapore, and private collectors. She has exhibited in eight countries and has worked as an artist since 2014. Her art agent for Asia is Betty Ashman at Club Artisans.
She has written the book" Create to Flow" about installing a habit for creative well-being. So let's get to know her a little more!
